Andrew Budge – Chairman
Andrew is the company’s founder and chief executive. He is an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), which is the premier professional organisation for those working in the insurance and financial services industry. The CII is dedicated to promoting higher standards of competence and integrity through the provision of relevant qualifications for employees at all levels and across all sectors.
Andrew is also an associate of the Pensions Management Institute (PMI), which is the professional body for those working in the field of pensions and employee benefits. The PMI is acknowledged throughout the industry as the body for establishing, maintaining and improving professional standards in every area of pension scheme management, consultancy and trusteeship.
Directors
Iain Budge – Managing Director
Iain joined us in 1991 after working for Eagle Star and Price Waterhouse. He provides expert financial advice for both individual and corporate clients. Iain took over the role as Managing Director from his father in 2005
Terry Barnes
Terry joined the team in 1990 after spending 12 years at Willlis Corroon, latterly as a director of their Financial Planning Division. His area of expertise within Budge & Co is company development and general client liaison. Terry is a member of the Personal Finance Society and received the award for providing the best “Retirement Planning for Employees” two years running in 1993/4 at the IFA of the Year awards ceremony.
Nick Watson
Nick became part of our team in 2003 having previously been a director at Smart & Cook Financial Services Ltd, dealing mainly with corporate and individual pensions. Prior to that he spend 11 years at Friends Provident, initially at the group pensions department at the company’s head office in Dorking and then at the Newcastle office.
David Buckle, FCII
David is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute. He joined us in 2006 bringing a wealth of experience with him, having been a Director of both national and privately owned pension consultancies during his career.
Associate Director
Cherrill Braithwaite
Cherrill became part of the team in 1997 after 25 years experience at Godwins, including working as the technical manager at their financial planning technical services department. An expert on trusts, estates and tax planning, Cherrill is one of the few IFAs to be a member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) – which is the professional body for the trust and estate profession worldwide.

Kevin Anderson
Kevin previously worked at The Pensions Partnership as an associate partner before joining us in 2002. He also has a legal background, having obtained a law degree at the University of Edinburgh.
